Central Castilla Sugar Mill – Colombia

Sector: Sugar Cane Production & Processing.

History: The company was built on 1945 for just sugar cane production. By 1958 it processed 4.000 tons of sugar cane daily. By 1966 the business growth in machinery and started processing 7.000 tons of sugar cane daily.

Project objective: By 2003 the company had the need to integrate and automatize their business processes with their field and harvest operational tasks to save time, resources and costs. On January 2005 started the SIO Project (Information & Operation System) with SAP ERP and myAgri® implementation.

Results: The company achieved the automation and control of their field and production operational activities reducing costs in their resources management.

US Sugar Corporation – USA

Sector: Palm Sugar Cane Production & Processing

History: The company was built on 1931 with the idea of create an interest on land and farming at south Florida. By 1941, US Sugar was indeed a profitable Florida sugar industry. By1959, the company increased its milling operations with a capacity of 5,000 tons per day. In the 80´s, the company was the largest sugar producer in Florida breeding more than 125,000 new varieties each year. By 1998, US Sugar officially opened its new sugar cane refinery. Today, the company farms nearly 187,858 acres of the most productive farmland in USA, processing nearly 45,000 tons of sugar cane per day and producing over 700,000 tons of sugar per year.

Project objective: By 2006 the company had the need to implement an integrated ERP solution. On June 2007 started the myAgri® implementation project named TIGER, going live on May 1st 2008.

Results: The company expects to achieve major profitability on operations and products, reducing costs and risks.

Southern Gardens Citrus – USA

Sector: Citrus Fruit Production & Juices Processing

Historia: The company was built on 1994 with a $100+ million facility for juice processing. By 1996, the company processed more than 19 million boxes of fruit per season. Today, the citrus plant has 56 one-million-gallon aseptic storage tanks and process over 30 million boxes of fruit, producing 180 million gallons of juice annually.

Objetivos del Proyecto: By 2006 the company had the need to implement an integrated ERP solution. On June 2007 started the myAgri® implementation project named TIGER, going live on May 1st 2008.

Resultados: The company expects to achieve major profitability on operations and products, reducing costs and risks.

Astorga Palm Oil Industry – Colombia

Sector: Palm Oil Fruit Production & Oil / Soap Processing.

History: The company was built on 1986 as an agro-industrial project to supply raw material (oil extracts) for soap production. The 1st planting production (1986-1992) reached 1.890 hectares. The 2nd planting production (1999-2006) reached up to 2.560 hectares.

Project objective: By 2003 the company had the need to integrate their field operations in Tumaco city with the rest of their adminsitrative operations in Cali city, reducing costs and incrementing product traceability. On 2004 started the SIPA Project (Astorga Processes Integration System) with SAP ERP and myAgri® implementation.

Results: The company achieved the automation and control of their operative field activities reducing costs in their resources management.

Riopaila Sugar Mill – Colombia

Sector: Sugar Cane Production & Processing.

History: The company was built on 1928 for sugar cane production, sucrose syrup, molasses and honey. By 1954 it started running an industrial alcohol refinery.

Project objective: By 2003 the company had the need to integrate and automatize their business processes with their field and harvest operational tasks to save time, resources and costs. On January 2005 started the SIO Project (Information & Operation System) with SAP ERP and myAgri® implementation.

Results: The integration of all the field & harvest processes will allow the business to step in a privileged sugar market position in Colombia and worldwide.

Complejo Agroindustrial Cartavio S.A.A. – Peru

Sector: Sugarcane production & processing.

History: Starting in the XVth century, this sugar mill is named Cartavio after 1782. in 1968 is converted into a cooperative, in 1997 tooks its current name after converting into a limited society. In 2007 joints the Grupo Gloria Holding Company. Today, Cartavio has 11.000 hectareas cutivated with high quality sugarcan.

Project objective: Provide high quality products to its customers by ensuring their satisfaction and loyalty.

Results: Under implementation.

Casa Grando S.A.A. – Peru

Sector: Sugarcane production & processing.

History: Starting in early 70´s, is the biggest sugar mill company in Perú,. harvesting more than 29.000 hectareas of sugarcane yearly. In 2006 joints the Grupo Gloria Holding Company.

Project objective: Maintaining the leadership in the sugar sector by increasing the total domestic production of sugar and introducing ethanol production.

Results: Under implementation.
